Overview of Role
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant is a key member of Glint’s Finance function. This role owns the mechanics of the month-end close across the group’s entities - banking, vault, and card-scheme reconciliations, month-end journals and accruals, and the integrity of the underlying ledgers in NetSuite — while overseeing the day-to-day accounts payable cycle through the AP automated process. The Management Accountant plays a central part in delivering an accurate, timely close and supporting the Financial Controller on reporting, audit, and regulatory deliverables.
This is a role for someone confident, decisive, and hands-on, someone who can step into a complex, fast-moving environment and bring structure, clarity, and control. You will be instrumental in rebuilding key finance processes, implementing strong operational discipline, and creating scalable frameworks for future growth.
You must be a strong self-starter, someone who can reason through problems independently, make sound decisions, and drive outcomes without needing step-by-step guidance. We need someone proactive who sees what needs to be done and can execute calmly and effectively, even when the environment is challenging or ambiguous. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a function that is ready to be tightened, rebuilt, and elevated.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
