Management Accountant Role

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to provide accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making across the EMEA region. This position is ideal for part-qualified accountants actively pursuing a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, AAT, CIMA, or equivalent).


Key Responsibilities

  • Month-End Activities:

    • Manage month-end processes for selected P&L accounts and departments, including journal preparation and posting.
    • Contribute to consolidated EMEA reporting for Flash/MOR submissions.
  • Profitability Analysis:

    • Assist in preparing and maintaining product area profitability reports.
    • Analyse and allocate direct and indirect costs where appropriate.
  • Management Information (MI):

    • Provide timely, accurate, and relevant management information to support business decisions.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting:

    • Take ownership of key elements of the EMEA reforecasting and budgeting process as agreed with senior finance leadership.
    • Support cash forecasting efforts and ensure strong financial control by providing MI, balance sheet reconciliations, and dynamic risk/opportunity assessments against forecasts.
  • Ad Hoc Support:

    • Respond to ad hoc requests from the EMEA Finance team and Group Finance as required.

Qualifications & Skills Required

Educational Level/Qualifications

  • Part-qualified accountant actively working towards a professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).

Experience/Knowledge

  • Confident communicator capable of engaging with all levels of management.
  • Proactive approach with a desire to develop both commercial and technical skills.
  • Hands-on attitude with the ability to identify weaknesses in systems and implement improved controls.
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite is advantageous; strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
