About the Role

We're proud to be partnering with a dynamic, fast-growing organisation based in Manchester's City Centre. What You'll Be Doing

  • Preparing insightful monthly management accounts and commentary that drive business decisions.
  • Partnering with department heads to shape budgets, forecasts, and performance analysis.
  • Owning balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring accuracy across financial data.
  • Providing reports that turn numbers into clarity - helping teams understand the story behind the figures.
  • Supporting external audits and assisting with ad hoc projects alongside the Finance Manager.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems, streamline reporting, and strengthen financial controls.

What You'll Bring

  • A minimum of two years' experience in management accounting or a related role.
  • CIMA/ACCA part-qualified and eager to keep developing professionally.
  • Strong communication skills - able to explain finance in plain English to colleagues from all backgrounds.
  • A team-first mindset, great attention to detail, and solid Excel skills.
  • Any familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a bonus.
