Management Accountant
Marlow (Office Based - 5 Days Per Week)
Join a thriving, family-owned business where people genuinely enjoy coming to work. We're partnering with a highly successful and growing privately owned SME to recruit an experienced Management Accountant who enjoys being part of a close-knit team and wants to make a real impact. This isn't a large corporate environment where you're one of hundreds. Instead, you'll become an integral part of a collaborative business where everyone rolls their sleeves up, supports one another and takes pride in delivering excellence. Personality, attitude and teamwork are just as important as technical ability.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you'll take ownership of the monthly management accounts while supporting the wider business with insightful financial reporting and helping drive continuous improvement across the finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy and working closely with decision makers within a growing entrepreneurial business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
