Due to continued success and future business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our team based at our Group head office in Barlborough, Chesterfield. This role will be supporting the financial management accounts for our East Midlands region and will involve occasional travel to our East Midlands office.

The Role

Are you an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant looking for a new challenge?

Joining the team as our Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting in the production of timely and accurate financial information for the region.

To be successful as our Management Accountant, you must hold a formal Accounting qualification - ACA, ACCA or CIMA. Previous experience working within a house building or construction business is desirable.

Key duties and requirements

You will also be responsible for but not limited to;

  • Production of monthly management accounts in accordance with the Group reporting timetable.
  • Production and submission of weekly cash forecasts.
  • Completion of Audit packs and audit preparation.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Group Policies and Processes
  • Production of tax packs
  • Variance Analysis
  • Production of Budgets and Forecasts
  • General reviews and involvement with the Operational Team
