We are hiring a 12 month fixed term contract for one of Europe's biggest private equity fund managers, based in central London.

A very broad role covering aspects of management accounting, business partnering and financial accounting. You will be a fully qualified accountant with relevant experience from within the asset management or wider financial services sector. You must be based in the UK already and not require any form of sponsorship.

The Role

  • Assisting with annual budgeting and quarterly reforecast processes, specifically around work force planning
  • Preparation of monthly cost centre reporting to department heads, posting journals for month end and providing commentary for variance analysis against budget
  • Preparation of month-end working files and balance sheet reconciliations, including payroll control account and nominal ledgers
  • Facilitate the annual UK group and overseas statutory audit, and preparation of UK statutory accounts for entities within the Firm Finance structure
  • Partner with key strategic departments in the firm, building relationships with department heads
  • Proactively seek out process improvements and efficiencies and help drive changes including embedding AI into processes

  • You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Circa 2-3 years post qualified
  • Relevant experience in a management or financial accounting role within financial services
  • Major advantage if you have basic working knowledge around payroll
  • Have a strong curiosity around all things AI
  • Be available to commence a role at short notice for the next 12 months
