Management Accountant Opportunity
If you're looking for a Management Accountant role where you'll do more than produce month-end reports, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
Joining a growing international business, you'll become an integral part of a finance team that's evolving alongside the organisation. Working closely with the Group Financial Controller and senior leadership team, you'll provide the analysis and insight that helps shape commercial and operational decisions.
This is a broad role that offers plenty of variety. You'll split your time between management accounting, commercial analysis and business partnering, giving you exposure to multiple areas of the business while developing your own skills along the way.
Whether you're analysing margins, supporting budgets, reviewing cash flow or improving reporting processes, you'll play a key role in helping the business understand its financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
What you'll be doing
- Producing monthly management accounts and financial reporting for an overseas business unit.
- Analysing margins, sales performance and profitability trends.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Monitoring working capital, including cash flow and inventory performance.
- Managing month-end accounting, including accruals, prepayments and fixed assets.
- Preparing financial information to support senior leadership and board reporting.
- Working closely with operational and commercial teams across the business.
- Supporting customer tenders with commercial and financial analysis.
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes and financial controls.
- Supporting business improvement projects and wider finance initiatives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
