Role Description

This is a full-time Management Accountant role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of office and work-from-home days. The Management Accountant will prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analyses, ensuring accurate recording of accruals and prepayments. The role involves supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring performance against targets, and providing insights to management on cost control and profitability. Daily tasks include reconciling accounts, reviewing financial transactions, assisting with year-end and audit requirements, and maintaining robust internal controls. The Management Accountant will collaborate closely with finance, operations, and leadership teams to deliver timely, reliable financial information that supports strategic decision-making.

  • Strong accounting and finance skills, including experience with Financial Statements and general Accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in managing Accruals and other month-end processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Well-developed Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide clear, actionable insights.
  • Relevant professional qualification or progress toward one (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and experience in management accounting or a similar role.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting/ERP systems; experience in retail, fashion, or consumer brands is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a hybrid team.
