Equifind Partnership with Crypto Firm

Equifind are excited to have teamed up with an exciting crypto firm in London, who need a commercially minded, management accountant to join the firm after a period of exciting growth and change.

We’re looking for a management accountant, who ideally has a background in the crypto space or from a fast-paced financial services background. This is a very hands-on role, that has elements of monthly reporting but also requires you to be very analytical & commercial.

You will jump right in with BAU and some projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own month-end close across multiple entities in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain the general ledger, reconciliations, journals, and intercompany processes
  • Prepare consolidations for multiple entities in multi-currencies for senior management
  • Support the year-end statutory accounts production
  • Assist with the areas of financial accounting of control, including financial accounting, treasury, systems, and finance transactions
  • Coordinate and manage external audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Prepare audit schedules, provide necessary documentation, and address auditor queries
  • Coordinate and prepare statutory reporting
  • Ensuring accurate and current financial ledgers
  • Ensure compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations
  • Maintain up to date documentation of business process and accounting policies
  • Identify and implement process improvements across finance, reporting and control frameworks
  • Champion automation and data integrity to strengthen institutional-grade infrastructure
  • Ad hoc projects as and requested by senior management

Experience & Qualifications

  • A Qualified Accountant (ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA) with 1-3 years PQE
  • A financial services background is a MUST, ideally from a fintech
  • Strong excel skills – Power Query is highly desirable
  • Experience of netsuite would be great
  • Be a self-starter and deliver reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Be a real team player

The organisation has around 100 employees in the London office and the working culture is highly professional and collaborative. Everyone has a voice and is expected to chip in. The office atmosphere has a great energy.

This is a great opportunity, as you will be working in a very fluid and dynamic environment, where no two days are the same.

As the business has some change and projects on the runway, we need someone who is happy to be in the London office 4 days per week.

Salary/daily rate

This management accountant opportunity in London will pay a daily rate of £350-£450 per day, on your experience and industry background.

We have a preference for candidates on no more than two weeks’ notice but if you hit all the requirements then we might be able to wait a little bit.

Interviews will be taking place over the coming week.

This role has every chance to go permanent after 6 months.
