Management Accountant/Analyst | London | Leading Media Business | £45k to £47k + Package
This leading, data driven, FTSE listed Media business are seeking a Management Accountant/Finance Analyst to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to join this fast moving and diverse business in a time of exciting growth.
This position will perform a pivotal role in helping the business to drive their growth plans forward. The job also offers a clear progression structure. Reporting into a fantastic Financial Controller.

As the senior Management Accountant you will be responsible for the monthly management accounts as well as playing a direct role in both the forecasting and budgeting cycles.
Responsibilities:
As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Managing the preparation of month-end and yearly management accounts
- Assisting the preparation of P&L and balance sheet, including month-end close, variance analysis, exception reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and commentary
- Journals
- Analysing overheads to explain variances in budgets
- FP&A exposure
- Preparation of detailed financial analysis including commentary for senior management
- Maintaining fixed asset register
- Reconciliation of intercompany accounts
- Cash flow management and forecasting

About you:
- Part-qualified or finalist level (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), actively studying towards qualification
- Ability to deal and communicate with non-finance professionals/business partnering experience
- Proficient in Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables & Formulas)
