The role?

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Finance department here at EnerMech for a Management Accountant. This is an immediate requirement to join our busy team here in Aberdeen on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for supporting our multiple business lines with management accounting duties. The main duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Timely and accurate preparation of business line accounting entries and reports in line with monthly timetable
  • In depth review of Profit & Loss and liaising with project managers on job performance
  • Assisting development of standard management reporting framework for use group wide
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting business lines with weekly forecasting updates and variance analysis
  • Close working with assigned business line to assist with management and reduction of WIP, Accrued Income, Aged Debt and other KPI's
  • Assisting and supporting stock and fixed asset counts

You are?

To be successful for this position you will be educated to a secondary education higher qualification level and have previous experience in a management accountant role in a medium sized business.

You will hold a wide knowledge of practical daily operations of an accounting team and have worked ideally within a manual role previously.

You will be proficient in Month End duties and be open assisting in improving any processes you deem necessary.

We are open to candidates being QBE, Part Qualified or Qualified.

You will be used to working to tight deadlines and having a busy workload, through this having good time management skills.

Due to the urgency of this role, ideally we are looking for a candidate who is immediately available or can be available within 2 weeks.
