Remuneration: Up to £42,000 per annum, dependent upon experience- plus £1000 working from home allowance
Contract Type: Permanent/ Full time - 40 hours per week
Location: Home-based/various UK meeting locations as required

The Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and providing proactive financial business partnering across the organisation. Working closely with departmental leaders, they will provide meaningful insight into financial performance, constructively challenge spending decisions, and identify emerging risks and opportunities. Through clear analysis and trusted financial advice, they will help stakeholders make well-informed decisions and support the organisation in achieving its financial and strategic objectives.
This is a home-based role (applicants must reside in the UK), though occasional travel may be required for face-to-face meetings at various locations within the UK.
As our Management Accountant, you will:
- Assisting with day-to-day accounts related operations of the Finance Department.
- Prepare group monthly management accounts from trial balance.
- Ensure all control account balances are reconciled monthly.
- Produce overhead accruals and prepayments for all entities. Ensure all group recharges are accurately processed each month.
- Act as a finance business partner to operational and departmental leaders, providing financial insight, challenge and support to aid decision making.
- Provide departmental managers with meaningful financial analysis, KPIs and commentary to support operational performance.
- Assist in the coordination, preparation, and consolidation of the annual budget process, working closely with budget holders across the business.
- Prepare quarterly VAT return for approval.
- Liaise with and provide information to external auditor.
- Analyse project expenditure and communicate this with project managers.
- Assist the Financial Controller with the preparation of overhead analysis, to include the use of excel to present information.
- Assist in the year end audit and annual work in progress verification exercise.
- Complete ad hoc project work as directed by the Financial Controller.
- Ensure all financial accounts and reporting are undertaken in a timely, accurate manner and in accordance with accounting standards and Group policies.
- Assist with budgets and cash-flow and monitor these highlighting any risks and assisting the business in using their financial resources effectively.
- Ad hoc duties as required from time to time by the Senior Management Team.

To succeed as our Management Accountant, you will have:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate findings clearly to non-finance audiences. Highly organised and meticulous, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple workloads effectively. Able to work autonomously, use initiative and remain calm under pressure while accurately following instructions. Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills and maintains confidentiality, professionalism and integrity at all times.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
- Demonstrable experience of business partnering with non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience supporting annual budgeting and in-year forecasting/reforecasting processes.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
- Proven administrative experience.
Desirable Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Knowledge of Sage products, namely Sage Intacct.
- Experience in the healthcare industry.
