A business with creativity at its core

Hays are delighted to be exclusively partnering with Inn Gear, who are a thriving, £16m turnover, leading supplier of furniture, artwork, bric-a-brac, reclaimed architectural elements and lighting to the UK hospitality sector. Established over 40 years ago and now with over 130 employees, they've built a strong reputation for quality, creativity and reliability, working with some of the biggest names in the brewery, restaurant and hotel industry.

You will be joining a team which is experienced, dynamic and commercially minded, many of them have worked together for over a decade. As they continue to grow, they're investing in their people, systems and infrastructure to support the next phase of their journey. They're proud of their reputation and excited about what's next; with refurbishment activity in the hospitality sector expected to significantly outpace new construction (driven by sustainability goals and changing consumer behaviours), they are perfectly placed to achieve their ambitious growth target across the next 3 years.

The Job

As Management Accountant, you will take ownership of day-to-day financial management, reporting and the control environment. Reporting to the Managing Director and supporting the leadership team, you will combine hands-on accounting with commercial support for directors and department heads.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys getting close to the detail while helping a growing business make better, evidence-based decisions. You will improve the quality of reporting, strengthen controls, and provide the analysis needed to support cost management, margin improvement, and sustainable growth to achieve £20m turnover.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Financial management and reporting
    • Lead day-to-day financial control, including management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
    • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts with meaningful variance analysis and commentary.
    • Develop clear reporting across multiple revenue streams, including retail, trade and contract projects.
    • Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and relevant VAT, PAYE and HMRC requirements.
    • Produce year-end statutory accounts and manage the annual audit process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
