Management Accountant
Location: Bath (Hybrid)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Benefits
Contract: Permanent | Full Time
About the Opportunity
We're working with an ambitious, fast-growing international business that's become a market leader within their sector and have won multiple awards. Following continued growth, they're looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their collaborative finance team.
This is a varied role offering exposure across multiple legal entities, with plenty of opportunity to influence decision-making and improve financial processes. You'll work closely with both finance and operational teams, providing commercial insight while ensuring robust financial reporting.
The Role
Reporting into senior finance, your responsibilities will include:
- Producing monthly management accounts across multiple entities
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances
- Delivering meaningful financial analysis to support business decisions
- Managing cash flow reporting and forecasting
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Overseeing intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Preparing VAT returns and assisting with statutory accounts and year-end audit
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial controls and processes
- Business partnering with stakeholders across the wider organisation

About You
We're looking for someone who can combine strong technical accounting knowledge with a commercial mindset.
You'll ideally have:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant position
- Strong month-end and financial reporting experience
- Cash flow forecasting and balance sheet reconciliation experience
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
- A proactive approach and a desire to continuously improve processes
