Role: Management Accountant
Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid Working) 1 paid day per week working/travelling to an additional site
Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 + Benefits
We’re working with a growing and well-established organisation looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its finance team in Milton Keynes. This is a great opportunity for a part-qualified or qualified-by-experience finance professional looking for a hands-on role with strong exposure to management accounts, reporting, and business partnering.
Reporting into the senior finance team, you’ll take ownership of key month-end and management accounting responsibilities, while working closely with operational teams to provide accurate financial information and insight.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
- Balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining financial controls
- Variance analysis, identifying key trends, and investigating discrepancies
- Budgeting and forecasting support
- Providing financial analysis and insight to operational stakeholders
- Supporting the wider finance team with process improvements and ad-hoc analysis
- Ensuring financial information is accurate, timely, and compliant
- Working across multiple entities / areas of the business where required

Key Requirements
- AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA, or qualified by experience
- Strong understanding of management accounts and month-end processes
- Good Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
- The confidence to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently
