Management Accountant - Entertainment & Public Relations

Permanent Role. £50,000 - £60,000 DOE

Central London - Onsite: 5 days in the office.

Robert Half are partnering exclusively with a global strategic brand investment and advisory business operating at the intersection of entertainment, luxury, media, hospitality and global culture to recruit a Management Accountant.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who is comfortable working in an SME environment and enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business.

The Role

As Management Accountant, you will work closely with the CFO and take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, providing financial insight and helping to improve processes across the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing core finance operations, including AP, AR, banking and the general ledger
  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Owning the P&L and cash flow
  • Cash flow management, foreign currency and debt collection
  • Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Reviewing project budgets for profitability
  • Preparing monthly financial statements
  • Supporting the audit process and external advisers
  • VAT
  • Supporting the Accounts Assistant
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements

About You

We are looking for a finance professional who:

  • Has a strong hands-on SME background
  • Has experience with management accounts, P&L and cash flow
  • Is comfortable working in a messy, unstructured or fast-moving environment
  • Is proactive, resourceful and a natural problem solver
  • Is comfortable working independently and dealing with ambiguity
  • Can build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Enjoys improving processes and bringing greater structure to a business
