Management Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a healthcare business in London for a management accountant.

Salary: £50,000-55,000pa (depending on experience)

Role Overview

Strong Accountant skilled in management accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting

  • Part-qualified or fully qualified (or equivalent)
  • Analytical, financial modelling, and Excel skills
  • Management accounts, analysing financial performance & budget variances

Skills/Duties

  • Degree in Accounting (or a related area)
  • Working in healthcare, hospitals (preferred)
  • Strong management accounting, budgeting, and reporting
  • Month-end processes, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Analytical and financial modelling
  • Developing financial dashboards and KPIs
  • MS Excel skills and using finance systems
  • Analyse financial performance and variance analysis
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Analysing service profitability, revenue, and operational costs
  • Prepare and support the production of monthly management accounts, profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow
  • Month-end journals and monthly balance sheet
  • Financial risks, cost-saving
  • Financial analysis/modelling to support operational decisions
  • Analyse financial performance, investigate variances
  • Annual budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring expenditure
