Your new role

As the Senior Management Accountant, you will:

  • Complete the monthly P&L and Balance Sheet to first-review stage, highlight variances to budget and respond to queries
  • Lead the annual budgeting process in partnership with budget holders and stakeholders
  • Assist with the overhead cost forecasts and oversee month-end intercompany reconciliations
  • Import and consolidate for group reporting
  • Report monthly and quarterly and compile the month-end board pack
  • Act as primary liaison for group queries, external auditors and the internal tax manager
  • Support external filings and lead ad-hoc projects

What you'll need to succeed

  • Fully qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA
  • Strong grasp of general accounting processes, internal controls and month-end routines
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables)
  • Experience with multi-currency reporting
  • Sharp attention to detail, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver against tight deadlines
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset and willingness to ask for help when needed
  • Flexibility to travel and to work outside core hours occasionally
