If you’re a qualified accountant who enjoys more than simply producing reports and ticking boxes, this could be an opportunity worth exploring. You’ll play an important role in keeping the financial engine running, taking ownership of the monthly management accounts, providing accurate and meaningful financial reporting, and ensuring senior stakeholders have the information they need to make informed decisions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

And deadlines...they’re not negotiable. You’ll need to be organised, resilient and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, with strong management accounting and financial reporting experience, excellent attention to detail, good communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders at different levels.

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who takes ownership, doesn’t wait to be chased and enjoys working in an environment where things move quickly. Due to time zone challenges you'll need to be able to start work by 8.00am in order to be available for questions and the role can be based predominantly remotely with some occasional trips to the office in Bristol. If you’re looking for a 12-month contract that will start asap then we’d love to hear from you.
