Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts for designated business areas, ensuring reporting deadlines are consistently met.
  • Produce monthly reporting packs, including relevant KPIs and clear variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring financial information is complete, accurate and supported by appropriate documentation.
  • Review and reconcile revenue and expenditure, investigating underlying movements and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting policies and IFRS requirements.
  • Analyse overhead expenditure, payroll costs and headcount movements, identifying key variances, trends and areas requiring further investigation.
  • Take ownership of cost forecasting and support the wider budgeting and forecasting process by providing robust financial data, assumptions and analysis.
  • Develop, maintain and improve financial models to support forecasting, reporting and business planning.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of financial records, controls and reporting processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, strengthen controls and drive greater consistency and efficiency across the finance function.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate information, supporting documentation and explanations as required.
  • Provide financial analysis and support on ad hoc projects, helping the wider business make informed commercial decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
