Management Accountant

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Benefits

Location: London (Hybrid Working Available)

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a growing and dynamic business looking to appoint a talented Management Accountant to join their finance team. This role would suit an ambitious accountant with experience in property, real estate, construction, infrastructure, or other project-led industries who is looking to take ownership of the month-end process and support key commercial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and commentary
  • Ownership of month-end and year-end reporting processes
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and control account reviews
  • Variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
  • Business partnering with operational and project teams
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
  • Monitoring project costs, margins, and profitability
  • Supporting audit processes and statutory reporting requirements
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements across finance

About You

  • Part-qualified, finalist, or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • Previous experience within property, real estate, construction, infrastructure, engineering, or a similar complex project-based environment
  • Strong management accounting experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
  • Ability to communicate financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Proactive, commercially minded, and able to work independently
