Management Accountant
Woking - Hybrid (3 days in office)
£50,000-60,000 + benefits
We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to support a fast-growing media business based near Woking.
This is an individual contributor position that reports directly to a brilliant finance leader (a true people person and keen mentor) and requires someone with a keen eye for detail and commercial mindset.

Wish List
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or QBE with extensive experience
- Prior experience delivering robust management accounts on a monthly basis for multiple entities
- A people person who is comfortable providing direct advice to stakeholders
- Experience of TV/film/media production accounting is highly desirable
- A capable IT user - Excel (including Pivots, Vlookups, etc.), Word, etc.

- Deliver accurate and insightful management accounts and commentary for 4 entities
- Support the month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Co-ordinate the year-end statutory accounts processes (and audits as applicable) including dealing with queries from external accountants
- Perform monthly detailed Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reconciliations, maintaining schedules throughout
- Oversee and contribute to the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
- Oversee monthly payroll preparation
- Deliver budget and forecast preparation and analysis as required
- Provide cover for the production accountant, setting up new productions and establishing reporting where required
- Provide commercially relevant accounting advice as required
- Support with business administration activities, e.g., incorporating companies, creating/registering tax accounts, liaising with HMRC, etc.
We need someone who is diligent, proactive, and enjoys advising and guiding accounting and business decisions.

Great attention to detail and an ability to work with varied finance and non-finance stakeholders is essential.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is an enthusiastic management accountant with a can-do attitude and positive approach to improving processes and controls wherever possible. This experience may have been developed in an accounting firm or industry, but it's essential that you can demonstrate multi-entity or multi-company financial management in prior roles.
Experience working in production-led industries (film, tv, theatre, events, arts, etc.) would be highly desirable but isn't essential.
Salary & Benefits
- £50,000 - £60,000 plus benefits
- This role is based close to Woking with some expensed travel to central London required
Flexible working patterns would be considered for this role, but a minimum of 30 hours per week would be required to be considered.
