About the Role
As a Management Accountant in the industrial and manufacturing sector, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the business. From preparing management reports to analysing budgets, your work will help the company make informed financial decisions.
Client Details
A company within the industrial and manufacturing sector. Looking for a candidate to support the Financial Controller.
Description
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements and balance sheet reconciliations
- Review and Posting of Accruals and Prepayments
- Analyse financial data to provide insights and support decision-making
- Monitor budgets and forecast future financial performance
- Sales, Cost and Revenue margin analysis
- Material Usage and Variance Analysis
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Lead a Team of 3
- WIP Reporting
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes
- Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors
- Provide support on ad-hoc financial projects as required to the Financial Controller

Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A recognised accounting qualification or progress towards one
- CIMA / ACCA Studier / QBE
- Strong experience in management accounting within a similar industry
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- ERP Systems experience
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

Job Offer
- Salary between £45,000 and £50,000, dependent on the level of experience
- 25 days of annual leave
- Permanent position in the industrial and manufacturing sector
- Office Based
