Management Accountant
East Sussex | Temporary to Permanent | £50,000-£55,000
An exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and growing business based in East Sussex, as Management Accountant.
You’ll be joining a small, high-performing finance team and working closely with the Group CFO across a broad finance remit. This is a hands-on role, ideal for a qualified or part-qualified accountant who enjoys getting involved across the wider finance function and wants to play a key part in supporting a growing business.
The Role:
- Producing monthly management accounts across multiple entities
- Supporting month-end processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Supporting the Group CFO with budgeting and forecasting
- Providing financial insight and analysis to support business decisions
- Working closely with stakeholders across the wider business
- Identifying opportunities to improve and develop finance processes
- Supporting the wider finance team across day-to-day finance activities

About You
We’re looking for a commercially minded and hands-on Management Accountant who is keen to make an impact within a growing business.
You’ll ideally have:

- Strong management accounts and month-end experience
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, part-qualified or actively studying
- Good technical accounting knowledge
- Experience working across a broad finance remit
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
- Excellent communication and business partnering skills
- A proactive and ambitious approach, with the appetite to grow alongside the business
- The ability to work comfortably in a hands-on environment where no two days are necessarily the same
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
