Role Description
This full-time, hybrid 3 days in the office Management Accountant role is based in Guildford. The Management Accountant will support the Finance Manager to enhance financial performance, financial risk rating, and contribution margin. To deliver high-quality management accounting and business partnering services to HPL & the clients. Ensure accurate financial information to clinical and non-clinical colleagues is provided in a timely manner, assisting budget managers with financial information and recommendations for action and equipping budget managers with tools and data to manage budgets and enhance financial performance.

Essential skills and attributes:
- Experience working in a finance role within a complex organisation
- Working experience in an ERP environment, with at least two years working experience in the Finance Module
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical ability, with a strong eye for detail
- Confident communicator, able to build relationships with clinicians, budget holders, and suppliers
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach
- Confident with the application of Accounting Theory
- Demonstrated ability to organise and manage multiple priorities in a quick-moving and change-oriented environment

Desirable:
- Experienced in financial reporting in the healthcare sector
- Proficient Oracle Finance User
Qualifications
- Business-related Bachelor’s Degree
- AAT Level 4 Completed
- CIMA Certificate level completed
- ACCA – Minimum 6 Papers Completed
- CIPFA Certificate in Management and Financial Accounting completed
- Qualified with experience
