Management Accountant

Core3 is thrilled to announce an exclusive recruitment opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our market leading client's finance team.

How you'll make an impact?

The Management Accountant will provide accurate and timely information to the internal stakeholders. The role holder will be the key person in the production of the monthly management accounts for allocated process areas, and as such will actively seek to improve processes and reports, while also providing clarity on the balance sheet position through the completion of account reconciliations

  • Prepare accurate, timely and cost effective management accounting information and highlight variances so that management can take effective action to improve operating performance
  • Take a leading role in the collation of budget and forecast template information for designated management units and the subsequent analysis
  • Support senior management accountants with more complex tasks
  • Complete full reconciliations of balance sheet accounts for area of responsibility
  • Actively seek, propose and implement process improvements in area of responsibility and department, using application of judgement to achieve and implement
  • Build effective working relationships, and advise the business using technical knowledge where necessary, with site and other management and address queries within the monthly accounts, ensuring relevant parties have the knowledge and training required to understanding their accounts
  • Deal with more complex ad-hoc queries as and when they arise
  • Take ownership for the accuracy and completeness of monthly reconciliations and postings
