Role: Management Consultant – Public Sector Defence

We are looking for an ambitious Consultant to join our Public Sector Defence practice.
In this role you will have an opportunity to perform work that is hugely important – often critical to national security - across the breadth of the UK Ministry of Defence client and connected government departments.

As an Aerospace and Defence Consultant you will:
- Work as part of focused project teams across a range of Defence clients & problems
- Lead an independent workstream as part of a broader project
- Gather, synthesise and analyse data from a variety of sources to draw insights and develop recommendations
- Structure and communicate outcomes to client management teams
- Work alongside client teams to help them implement the recommendations to deliver value
- Help develop and refine offerings and generate collateral to support sales and origination activities.
- Facilitate client innovation and requirements workshops and use a human-centred approach to solve problems, frame opportunities and achieve innovation through collaboration and co-creation.
This is the ideal opportunity for you if you can demonstrate:
- Demonstrable client facing management consulting experience Defence clients (or closely related government clients), gained within a leading consulting organisation
- Alternatively, substantial industry experience driving transformational business change in Defence
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record, or equivalent experience. An advanced degree or MBA is a plus but not essential
- Strong functional knowledge in one or more of the following areas is key – Supply Chain, Operational Improvement, Quality Management, Sourcing and Procurement, Digital Transformation & Engineering, Complex Programme Delivery, Data & Analytics, Intelligence & Operations
- Exceptional creative problem solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral. Fluency in English
- A passion for technology and innovation.

Location:
Your home office can be in London, Bristol or Manchester. This role is client-facing and will therefore involve travel, working in other parts of the UK.
