We are partnering with a growing specialist consultancy to recruit a Strategic PMO Consultant who will support the delivery of complex transformation programmes across the transport, infrastructure and operational sectors.
This is a highly visible consulting role working directly with executive teams, programme directors and senior sponsors. You will help clients bring clarity and structure to complex portfolios, establish effective governance and ensure leadership teams have the information required to make informed decisions.
The position goes beyond traditional project controls. You will act as the link between strategy and delivery, helping clients understand their priorities, manage dependencies and translate organisational objectives into practical plans.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Building consolidated views of programmes, projects, risks and dependencies
- Establishing governance, reporting and decision-making forums
- Supporting portfolio prioritisation, sequencing and investment decisions
- Producing executive-level presentations, dashboards and briefing materials
- Translating complex programme information into clear, actionable messages
- Identifying risks, conflicts and delivery issues before they escalate
- Coordinating activity across multiple projects and stakeholder groups
- Driving ownership and accountability for actions and decisions

We are looking for someone with experience in consulting and strategic delivery, ideally into travel/transport clients. You should be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, managing competing priorities and operating in environments where structure may still be developing.
Communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to produce high-quality, executive-ready outputs. Previous experience within aviation would be a significant advantage.
The role will involve regular travel across London and the South East, with occasional international travel when required.
