Management Consultant - Business Change & Transformation

My client is seeking an experienced Management Consultant - Business Change & Transformation to join a fast-paced UK bank, helping shape and govern the delivery of new regulated products. This is a role for someone who thrives where technology, regulation, and innovation intersect.

Overview

  • Lead business and product change initiatives, including new product launches and transformation programme projects.
  • Translate regulatory, strategic, and technology requirements into actionable product and operational changes.
  • Conduct impact assessments, gap analyses, and business readiness reviews to ensure delivery readiness.
  • Define and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Monitor delivery progress, manage blockers, and ensure alignment with scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and communicate change impacts, risks, and benefits across the organisation.

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience delivering business or product change within banking, fintech, or payments.
  • Strong business analysis, stakeholder management, and change delivery skills.
  • Comfortable working across payments, APIs, risk & controls, and agile delivery environments.
  • Experience with financial crime, transaction monitoring, and/or cross-border and domestic payments is highly desirable.
  • Track record of completing internal change and transformation projects, or working in a consulting capacity to deliver change and transformation programmes.
  • Ability to operate in fast-moving, less structured environments, managing competing priorities effectively.

Location

London City – Hybrid working.

Salary

£75,000 to £85,000 – Depending on Experience
