Management Consultants – Public Sector Procurement
Technology / Construction / Clinical
£70,000–£90,000 + Bonus and Benefits
Home-based with travel to client sites as required
I am partnering with a leading procurement and commercial consultancy that is continuing to grow its specialist public-sector offering.
Previous consulting experience is highly desirable, although candidates with deep sector expertise and the client-facing skills to transition into consultancy will also be considered. There are multiple roles available.
Key Skills
We are looking for candidates with strong expertise in one of the following areas:
- Technology: Central government procurement experience covering areas such as software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, networks, telecoms or managed services.
- Construction: Major infrastructure, construction or capital-programme experience involving NEC contracts and ideally CEMAR, preferably within a public-sector environment.
- Clinical: Clinical procurement experience gained within the NHS or private healthcare across medical devices, clinical products, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals or healthcare services.

A track record of leading complex sourcing, procurement transformation or commercial improvement programmes.
Strong senior stakeholder management, negotiation, project leadership and client-facing communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading complex procurement, strategic sourcing and commercial improvement programmes.
- Advising senior stakeholders on procurement strategy, commercial models, governance and risk.
- Managing client relationships and delivering projects to agreed timescales and quality standards.
- Identifying and delivering measurable savings, service improvements and wider commercial value.
- Supporting proposals, capability development and the coaching of junior consultants.
