Key Attributes

As a Senior Consultant, you’ll be an accomplished and effective member of the Teneo Consulting team, supporting Managers, Directors, and Managing Directors in the delivery of client engagements, while leading smaller projects and discrete workstreams within larger, more complex cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality case delivery support and workstream leadership across the four competency areas: Research, Analysis and Insight, Technical Skills, Case Delivery
  • Demonstrate strong consulting skills, judgement, and knowledge across all competency areas
  • Lead discrete workstreams and manage smaller cases with support from Managers, Directors, or Managing Directors
  • Manage multiple workstreams, planning and coordinating team activities while translating project leadership requirements into deliverables, with support available from managers and the wider project team where required as well as through coaching and mentoring channels
  • Develop recommendations from initial hypothesis through refinement and validation
  • Manage workstream teams on a day-to-day basis, delegating and planning delivery and providing coaching support
  • Work independently with minimal need for support
  • Manage day-to-day client interactions, understanding client priorities and escalating issues where appropriate
  • Present analyses, conclusions, and recommendations confidently to clients and project teams
  • Support business development activity and contribute to wider Consulting team initiatives
  • Build strong client relationships and actively coach junior team members

Basic Qualifications

  • 4-5 years’ relevant professional experience, ideally within Management Consulting or Professional Services
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to structure complex issues and develop practical recommendations
  • Experience leading workstreams, managing stakeholders, and delivering high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership potential, with the ability to coach junior team members and work effectively within high-performing teams
  • Degree qualified (2:1 preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous management consulting experience
  • Exposure to strategy, transformation, operational improvement, and/or commercial due diligence projects
  • Sector expertise relevant to Teneo’s client base
  • Experience supporting business development, proposals, or thought leadership activities
  • Working knowledge of a major European language
