Management Information Officer
Job description
A temporary opportunity has arisen within the Performance Management Team, supporting both Adult Services and Children’s Services. The post is for a period of 12 months.
Hours: 37 Per Week Full Time
Your workstyle will be a mobile hybrid worker in this role which gives you the flexibility to work from home and from a variety of Council workplaces.
We are seeking a motivated and analytical individual with great attention to detail, to join our Performance Management Team as a Management Information Officer, supporting both Adult Services and Children’s Services.
As a Management Information Officer, you will work closely with managers, senior managers and other stakeholders both internally and externally to collect, analyse and present accurate performance and activity information that supports informed decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team where your expertise will help improve data quality, strengthen reporting and drive continuous service improvement.
Key responsibilities:
- Collect, validate and analyse performance and activity data across Adult Services and Children’s Services.
- Produce accurate, timely reports, dashboards and management information for a range of audiences.
- Work with practitioners, managers and partner teams to understand reporting requirements and present findings clearly.
- Monitor data quality, investigate discrepancies and support improvements to recording practices.
- Support statutory returns, performance monitoring and continuous service improvement activity.
About you:
Do you have:
- Experience of producing statistical reports and returns
- Experience of computer databases and query tools
- Ability to assess work priorities, manage one’s own time to achieve quality work within agreed deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people verbally and in writing
- Ability to analyse numerical data using a variety of statistical techniques.
