The Education Data Hub is recruiting to a permanent position within the Data Management for Schools Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery and development of our successful Data Management traded service, supporting schools, academies and Multi Academy Trusts (MATs) to maximise the value of their Management Information Systems (MIS) and data.
Working primarily with Arbor, you will provide specialist advice, support and guidance to a diverse customer base. Acting as a trusted advisor to schools, MATs and Children's Services colleagues, you will help customers make effective use of their MIS, improve data management practices and ensure they have access to accurate and meaningful information.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery, development and continuous improvement of the Data Management traded service, ensuring it meets customer needs and delivers excellent customer service.
- Manage and develop the MIS Support Service for schools, providing high-quality support while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Design and implement support services for Multi Academy Trusts (MATs), working closely with stakeholders to shape and develop future service provision.
- Provide specialist advice, guidance and troubleshooting on complex Arbor MIS modules and functionality.
- Support schools and MATs with data management, reporting, statutory returns and best-practice use of MIS platforms.
- Lead and contribute to projects, service improvements and system developments across the Education Data Hub.
- Develop and maintain service standards, procedures and documentation to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Promote Education Data Hub services through training events, conferences, networking opportunities and customer engagement activities.

The role requires a methodical and organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records and deliver to competing deadlines. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to build positive working relationships with schools, MATs, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Experience of working with a school Management Information System, particularly Arbor, is highly desirable.
