Management Surveyor | Client Side | Major London Development | Strategic Oversight
Up to £80,000 + substantial bonus + extensive benefits
Madison Berkeley is working with one of London’s leading privately owned developers and investors to appoint a Management Surveyor into its in-house team.
This is a unique opportunity to work on one of London’s most significant mixed-use developments, already operating across commercial, retail, residential, and student accommodation, with substantial future phases still to come.
This is not a traditional Property Management role.
The position is focused on strategic oversight, sitting between the Asset Management team and the appointed managing agent, with responsibility for ensuring the estate is being operated effectively, commercially, and in line with the wider development strategy. The role reports into the Commercial Asset Management Director.

The Role
Responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the key day-to-day interface with the appointed managing agent
- Challenging managing agent performance, expenditure, and recommendations
- Overseeing estate service charge budgets, reconciliations, and operating expenditure
- Monitoring performance against KPIs and agreed service standards
- Working closely with Asset Management, Development, Finance, and Sustainability teams
- Supporting mobilisation, handover, and integration of new development phases
- Managing relationships across occupiers, consultants, suppliers, and wider stakeholders
- Reviewing operational risks, service delivery, and opportunities to improve performance
- Supporting senior management with reporting, recommendations, and strategic decision-making

We are open on background, although strong commercial Management Surveying experience is essential.
