Summary
We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded Manager to lead one of our operational teams. This is a high-impact role for a confident leader with a proactive, solutions-focused approach to delivering exceptional service, driving continuous improvement and building strong client partnerships. You will be accountable for the operational performance of the team, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of accounts, overseeing key client portfolios, resolving complex account issues and driving follow-up activities to maximise client revenue and service performance.
Strategically, you will act as a trusted client partner, leading meetings, supporting new business opportunities and representing Medserv with professionalism and credibility. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, oversee service delivery against agreed SLAs, resolve escalated issues and identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships and support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for client queries, ensuring timely resolution and high levels of client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, representing the business at meetings and industry events where required.
- Lead weekly operational reviews, reporting on team performance, risks and service delivery to senior management.
- Lead and develop both on-site and remote teams across multiple locations, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance.
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounts by working closely with both on-site and remote teams.
- Monitor outstanding accounts, workloads and productivity, ensuring resources are focused on key priorities.
- Manage departmental resources and budgets, monitoring expenditure and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Set, monitor and achieve team KPIs and quarterly objectives in partnership with the Operations Director.
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, drive continuous improvement and support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and regulatory requirements.

This role leads both on-site and remote teams across multiple locations and requires a collaborative leadership style with a strong focus on performance, engagement and client service.
Role Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience leading operational teams.
- Proven experience managing both on-site and remote teams.
- Experience managing budgets, resources and operational performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, advanced formulas and reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident presenting to clients, senior management and larger groups.
- Ability to prioritise competing demands and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within healthcare or insurance claims would be advantageous.
