IVA Advisory Team Manager

Company: My Debt Plan

Location: Cheadle, Stockport (On-site)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (41 hours per week)

Package: Up to £75,000 (depending on experience)

At My Debt Plan, we are committed to providing ethical, clear, and life-changing financial solutions to our clients. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a driven, experienced IVA Advisory Team Manager to join our fast-paced office in Cheadle, Stockport.

We need a leader who understands how to strike the perfect balance between high-performance and strict regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for supervising, developing, and motivating a team of experienced IVA Advisors, ensuring our goals are met while upholding the highest standards of quality assurance and customer care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving Performance & Outcomes: Lead your team to achieve monthly conversion, pack return, and completion efficiencies. Ensure that strong pipeline management translates directly into excellent financial solutions for our clients.
  • Quality & Compliance Assurance: Conduct regular call observations and meticulous file reviews. Guarantee that all income and expenditure assessments are accurate, customer-centric, and fully adhere to industry regulations.
  • Structured Coaching & Development: Deliver data-driven 1-to-1s that review conversion metrics (such as lead-to-pack ratios) alongside compliance tracking and tailored career development goals.
  • Team & Resource Management: Host regular levelling sessions with your team to refine objection handling, share best practices, and improve solution accuracy.
  • Operational Optimization: Manage alternate shift patterns dynamically to ensure the team operates efficiently and hits all monthly deadlines smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

  • Industry Experience: Proven management experience within the UK debt advice space, specifically overseeing IVA or Debt Management advisors.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong working knowledge of the IVA advice journey, insolvency regulations, and Standard Financial Statement (SFS) guidelines.
  • Leadership Skills: A calm, analytical, and highly organized leader who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Balanced Approach: A proven track record of managing and coaching advisors to hit performance and conversion targets without compromising high compliance and quality scores.
