Manager - Commercial & Specialty Insurance
📍 London (Hybrid)
💰 £60,000 - £75,000 + Benefits
The Opportunity
We're working with a specialist consulting team that helps insurers, brokers and market participants tackle complex operational and strategic challenges through Transformation, Data and AI. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Commercial & Specialty Insurance experience to join a growing team and work on programmes that directly influence how organisations operate, compete and grow.
The team combines deep insurance expertise with consulting, data and technology capability to help clients modernise operations, improve decision-making and unlock value through business transformation. You'll work alongside Insurance Consultants, Data Specialists, Transformation Experts and industry leaders in a collaborative environment where sector expertise is genuinely valued.
Unlike industry roles where you may spend years focused on a single organisation, this position offers exposure to a wide range of insurers, brokers and market participants, helping clients tackle some of the biggest challenges facing the Commercial & Specialty Insurance market.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the delivery of transformation and modernisation programmes
- Helping clients identify opportunities to leverage Data and AI to improve business outcomes
- Contributing to business and operating model design initiatives
- Supporting underwriting, claims and operational transformation projects
- Conducting analysis and developing insights to solve complex business challenges
- Producing high-quality client deliverables and recommendations
- Facilitating workshops and stakeholder discussions
- Working across business, technology and data teams to support successful change initiatives

What We're Looking For
- Commercial & Specialty Insurance experience is essential
- Experience within an insurer, broker, MGA or insurance consultancy
- Strong understanding of the Commercial & Specialty Insurance value chain
- Experience within underwriting, claims, operations, strategy or transformation functions
- Understanding of how Data and AI can be used to improve business outcomes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
