Manager Accounting Financial Reporting

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll take ownership of underwriting results, and the month-end accounting process, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and strong financial control across complex insurance data.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own the end-to-end month-end accounting process, maintaining strong controls and efficient delivery
- Production of monthly, quarterly, and annual results across premiums, claims, and corporate
- Oversee reconciliations and technical balance controls, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards
- Manage/mentor a small team of aspiring accountants
- Partner with actuarial, underwriting, and regulatory teams, plus auditors, to deliver accurate financial insight and reporting

What We're Looking For


Get help with your application

- Qualified accountant (ACA strongly preferred) with 2–5 years post-qualification experience
- Strong knowledge of insurance accounting, including Lloyd's and/or company market principles
- Proven experience managing and developing a small accounting team - desired
- Genuine ambition to progress toward Financial Controller, FD, or CFO level over time
