We are building an integrated Data, Technology & Analytics capability designed to help clients make better decisions through connected data, advanced analytics, and actionable insight.
By combining Acxiom’s data and identity capabilities with Omnicom Media’s planning, activation and analytics expertise, we deliver audience-first strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
This role is dedicated to Mercedes-Benz, supporting the transformation of their audience strategy across various data sources to enable more effective, data-driven marketing and customer engagement.
The Role
The Manager, Audience Analytics (Mercedes-Benz) will play a hands-on role in assisting the Executive Director deliver an audience-first approach to planning, activation and measurement, working directly with client and agency teams.
You will focus on operationalising audience strategy end-to-end - from first and third party data organisation and segmentation through to activation, optimisation and performance reporting.
This is a delivery-focused role, responsible for ensuring that audience thinking is effectively embedded into day-to-day planning and activation workflows, and that data is translated into clear, actionable outcomes as well as supporting the stakeholders on the account in driving innovation.
Responsibilities
Audience Data & Segmentation Strategy
- Partner closely with Mercedes-Benz stakeholders to structure, organise and maximise the value of first and third-party data
- Translate business objectives into practical audience definitions and segment strategies
- Expand audience marketplace strategies to convert user interaction into sales

Audience Insight Development
- Assist with the development of audience insights and profiling, combining first-party data, Acxiom data and other partner sources
- Identify key behavioural, demographic and attitudinal drivers that inform planning and creative strategy
- Support ongoing insight generation to inform campaign optimisation and test learnings
Audience Strategy Across the Funnel
- Work with strategy and planning teams to map audiences across the full customer journey
- Ensure consistent use of centralised audiences to contribute to more cost effective outcomes
- Embed audience-first thinking into comms planning processes
- Support local markets in adaptation of audiences
Activation & Operationalisation
- Partner with regional and local market teams to ensure audiences are effectively translated into platform-specific executions
- Support the implementation, QA and governance of audience deployment across channels
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to addressability, match rates, and activation gaps
- Ensure consistency between planned audiences and executed targeting strategies
Audience Performance & Test & Learn
- Define and deliver audience-level performance reporting and analysis
- Track delivery, reach, engagement and conversion performance by audience segment
- Research and communicate with third party suppliers to identify testing opportunities
- Clearly communicate results and implications to both client and internal teams

- Experience in audience analytics, data strategy, or digital/media analytics roles
- Strong hands-on experience with segmentation, profiling and audience strategy execution
- Working knowledge of first-party data ecosystems, CRM data, CDPs and identity resolution
- Experience leveraging third-party datasets (e.g. Acxiom or similar) in media planning and activation
- Understanding of how audiences are activated across key platforms (programmatic, social, search)
- Hands on experience across channel platforms to provide governance, set up and optimisation support
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (strategy, planning, activation)
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage delivery and execution quality
- Excellent communication and team management skills
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
