Role Overview
The Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for driving the company's direction and engagement by proactively managing software and solution sales for innovative eProcurement and Supply Chain solutions. They will prospect, qualify, sell, and close opportunities for new and existing GEP customers. Building and managing executive relationships are crucial to maximize GEP's market penetration and achieve the goal of becoming the preferred solution provider. The position involves executing sales strategies to boost GEP's revenue through proactive identification, engagement, and closure of software and solution sales in the Procurement and Supply Chain sectors. Responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, forecasting, selling, client demonstrations, account planning, pipeline management, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships with executives and deal teams, as well as associated legal and financial intermediaries to optimize ongoing sales and repeat orders.
- Manage sales across the assigned market and/or geographic territory to promote enterprise-level agreements.
- Responsible for showcasing company capabilities to prospective customers.
- Prepare and execute sales strategies for the qualifying leads.
- Work with sales management, project management, customer service, and marketing team.

Requirements
- Demonstrated success in selling SaaS solutions.
- Proficient in building relationships across diverse levels of maturity.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex ideas effectively.
- Must be business fluent in English – additional business fluency in German is a must.
- Experienced in handling complex sales engagements.
- Proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Ability to collaborate with clients and develop tailored business solutions.
- Exceptional negotiation skills.
- An excellent understanding of eProcurement and/or Supply Chain solutions across a broad industry background would be desirable.
