Job Description/Responsibilities

Manager – Capital Management – Strategic Programs and M&A

Manages the execution of a program of capital projects supporting strategic programs, M&A, and Sazerac sites outside of North America. Responsible for project scoping, budget building, project planning, and execution. Ensures proper governance of projects, partnering with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Legal to execute projects. Works collaboratively across the organization to ensure alignment and coordination with stakeholders including Commercial and Executive leaders. Supports delivery of company strategic and global growth initiatives, ensuring proper technical analysis and business case justification. Partners closely with Engineering and Capital Planning team.

  • Cost Savings Projects: Drive initiatives that improve cost efficiency and support sustainable financial performance. Advance projects that strengthen financial discipline and maximize resource utilization. Support initiatives that improve profitability through thoughtful cost management.
  • Globalize the Company: Expand the organization’s capabilities, reach, and ways of working to support sustainable growth across global markets.
  • Company Communications: Proactively communicates across the organization to ensure appropriate strategy and alignment of stakeholders including Commercial and Executive leaders.
  • Acquisitions Project: Supports strategic growth opportunities and business expansion initiatives.

  • Deliver global strategic growth initiatives: Lead and execute enterprise-wide priorities that support long-term business growth across markets and regions.
  • Execute new initiatives on time and within budget: Effectively plan, coordinate, and deliver new initiatives according to established timelines and financial expectations.
  • Optimize working capital: Identify opportunities to improve the effective use of financial and operational resources in support of business performance and growth.

  • Annual CAPEX plan: Develop and execute the annual CAPEX plan in alignment with business priorities.

KPIs

  • CAPEX Addendum: Number of projects requiring additional funds above the originally approved amount.
  • CAPEX Cashflow Forecast Accuracy: A monthly measurement of actual cashflow in the month vs. forecasted plan.
  • CAPEX Cashflow: A monthly measurement against our full year estimate of total CAPEX cashflow.
  • CAPEX Project Approval in Year: The velocity of the projects approved. The number of projects approved in a month vs. the expected projects submitted each month.
  • Sazerac Company Revenue Growth: Growth of Sazerac revenue growth versus target.
  • Sazerac Company Gross Profit Growth: Growth of Sazerac Gross Profit on a FY vs. PY and plan basis.

Processes

  • Manage KPI Action Plans: Lead action plans that address key performance indicators and support achievement of business objectives. Drive accountability for actions tied to operational and financial performance measures.
  • Track Capital Spend and Project Savings: Maintain visibility into capital expenditures, project progress, and cost-savings outcomes.
  • Submit and Obtain CAPEX Project Approval: Ensure capital projects are appropriately documented, evaluated, and approved before execution.
  • Develop and Manage Capital Expenditure Plans and Budgets: Develop and manage capital expenditure plans and budgets to support business priorities and operational needs.
  • Global - Brand Introduction and Compliance: Coordinate cross-functional efforts to support compliant brand launches across markets.
  • Conduct Engineer Assessment on New Projects: Review new project proposals to confirm technical requirements, operational readiness, and implementation considerations. Partner with relevant stakeholders to assess engineering needs and support informed project decisions.
  • Improve Processes Continuously: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and operational performance. Foster a culture of ongoing evaluation, problem-solving, and operational excellence.
