Job Opportunity: Manager, Channel and Product Activations

This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton's sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions!

As a Manager, Channel and Product Activations, you will support these areas which are at the core of Hilton's "commercial engine" and are important to Hilton's ability to achieve profitable growth.

On the Global Distribution team reporting to Senior Manager Channel and Product Activations, you will work on projects including new channels activations and implementations, All Inclusive (AI) and Central America Latin America (CALA) specific pricing initiatives, new product/promotion launches and expansions, connectivity switches, distribution capability enhancements, and traffic optimization tasks.

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Be Like

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end implementation process and work closely with the client from kick off call, through testing phase, and go live
  • Lead operational and implementation related meetings with channels, switch, and tech providers, as relevant and within the project scope
  • Support new pricing initiatives, as required by the CALA/AI segment, including communication to internal stakeholders and external channels
  • Manage the new products and promotions process, customize, and deliver all official communication in time and to meet the agreed deadline
  • Document and maintain all internal records, shared files, and project matrixes
  • Lead ad hoc implementation projects, in line with Hilton’s strategy and a key focus on the CALA region as well as our resorts and All Inclusive portfolio’s priorities

How You Will Collaborate with Others

  • Share implementation updates as relevant to the success of the project across multiple teams, including but not limited to Pricing, Strategy, Sales, Operations, Data Management, IT, Brands, and New Openings
  • Provide second-line support, implementation projects’ insights, and expertise to all Global Distribution team members
  • Partner with other team stakeholders to ensure understanding and operate in line with cross-team processes
  • Work with implementation team members to support and deliver complex and high priority projects as required by team leader

Qualifications

Why You'll Be a Great Fit

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • BA / Bachelor’s Degree or experience in-lieu thereof
  • Extensive Hospitality Distribution or Revenue experience
  • Proficient in MS applications, including but not limited to Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Fluent English AND Spanish (both spoken and written) – C1 level or above (knowledge of Portuguese in addition to Spanish would be a plus)
  • Attention to detail with a keen interest in hospitality technology
  • Able to work toward and deliver project goals within agreed timelines
  • Ability to respond and adapt to constant hospitality changes
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

It would be useful if you have:

  • Qualifications in Project Management and/or experience of managing and owning projects
  • Additional spoken languages to support global business
  • Skills and experience in using MS Access, VBA, and SQL
