Role Summary and Impact
We are looking for a curious and enthusiastic Manager to join the Boots Retail team – the ‘parent’ brand of The Boots Group that delivers Boots brand campaigns supporting stores and .com. This role is a central part of the team, building a knowledge bank of the sectors Boots operate in from a competitor landscape and audience point of view, supporting in the delivery of innovative paid campaigns across all media channels and building direct relationships with our clients in the Boots Media Team.
The successful candidate will work across the entire campaign lifecycle – planning, activation and evaluation – and develop their brand planning skills. In this role you will work on interesting and diverse briefs that require multi-channel planning, producing brilliant audience insight and in-channel innovation to deliver breakthrough campaigns across Beauty, Wellness, Health and Seasonal categories.

As a Manager in our Client Leadership team, you will:
- Be a critical part of the team running the day to day client business, using high levels of initiative to ensure smooth client servicing, smooth internal process to deliver work and ensure accuracy and punctuality of billing and other administrative tasks
- Be taking and distilling client requests, working with the AD and Director on responses to briefs and working closely with media specialists at every point along the campaign life cycle
- Work as part of a tight-knit team and contribute to the team culture of open communication, curiosity and initiative to learn and develop our planning skills
- Need to quickly digest information and give accurate and clear verbal and written directions, instructions and feedback
- Have excellent organisation skills being adept at managing a diverse workload, work at pace and are able to appropriately prioritise tasks

We would also be looking for the following:
- Experience in a client services, media planning or investment role
- An ability to analyse client and consumer data imaginatively and get to grips with the media landscape we operate in
- The ability to develop a way of storytelling our work to build compelling and thorough recommendations
- An ability to build trusted relationships internally to develop your understanding of media channels and get the best work from our specialist teams and externally with our creative agency partners to foster proper integration in our work
- A willingness and keenness to learn and develop, becoming experts in our proprietary and industry tools, and processes
- An understanding of media effectiveness and how we can deliver results
