This role partners closely with Corporate Marketing and Communications, regional business leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to translate strategy, growth priorities, client work, and key market moments into clear, compelling communications for external audiences.

The Manager, External Communications and Marketing, EMEA will help plan and execute integrated communications programs, develop polished messaging and content, support external events and speaking opportunities, write and coordinate awards submissions, and ensure consistency across channels, markets, and stakeholder audiences. This role is a strong fit for a confident writer and organized project manager who understands external communications, can navigate matrixed teams, and brings regional awareness of the EMEA market.

What You’ll Do

Execute Integrated External Communications Programs

  • Support the development and execution of external communications and marketing plans aligned to corporate priorities, EMEA growth objectives, reputation-building opportunities, and business goals.
  • Translate strategic direction, market context, and stakeholder input into clear messaging, campaign plans, content briefs, and communications deliverables.
  • Coordinate timelines, inputs, review cycles, approvals, and launch plans to ensure smooth delivery and high-quality output across external channels and regional workstreams.

Create Clear, Compelling External Content

  • Draft and edit external-facing communications, including corporate announcements, website copy, social content, campaign materials, thought leadership, leadership messages, event copy, talking points, media materials, and presentation copy.
  • Simplify complex healthcare, marketing, client, and business topics into accessible, audience-aware narratives that help external audiences understand what Real Chemistry does, why it matters, and where the company is leading.
  • Maintain consistency in tone, voice, style, proof points, and messaging across channels, markets, and stakeholder audiences.

Support Events, Awards, and Market Visibility

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

At Real Chemistry, we believe we're at our best when we're connected. Our Real Hybrid and Regional Teams (Real HART) approach is designed to foster collaboration, learning, innovation, and meaningful relationships while providing flexibility where appropriate. Because our workforce spans multiple countries, regions, and client needs, work arrangements may vary by role and location. Some positions offer hybrid or remote flexibility, while others require regular in-office presence. For example, certain teams and regions, including some of our UK operations, have office-based requirements. Your recruiter will discuss the specific expectations for the role you're pursuing during the interview process and keep you informed throughout the hiring journey. For employees located within a one-hour commute of a Real Chemistry office, we require in-person attendance two days per week, either from a Real Chemistry office or when working onsite with clients. Employees in regions without a nearby office may work remotely and come together throughout the year for collaboration, culture-building, learning, and team connection opportunities. While these guidelines reflect our current workplace model, we understand that everyone’s circumstances are unique. If you require additional flexibility, we welcome an open conversation with your recruiter and our HR team to discuss your needs and determine what may be possible.

Real Chemistry is an Equal Opportunity employer. We continually strive to build and sustain an inclusive and equitable work environment where our employees feel empowered to leverage all they bring from their personal lived experience and professional expertise, to make our team the best in the industry.
