Manager, Consumer Strategy & Business Development (Fixed Term Contract)

Req ID: 10156747

About the Role & Team

Disney+ is The Walt Disney Company’s Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) video entertainment service, offering premium branded content alongside a broad general entertainment library, appealing to families and adults alike. The service consists of long form and short form video, includes multiple beloved brands (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, Hulu and ESPN), with an appealing and easy to use interface accessed across multiple platforms (e.g. smart TVs, mobile devices).

The Consumer Strategy & Business Development (CS&BD) team is responsible for Disney’s Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) strategy in EMEA, including driving the growth and long-term evolution of Disney+ in the region, exploring new market entries and developing innovative ways to expand and enhance the Disney+ experience for consumers. It also plays a key role in shaping our DTC content proposition, including building new content partnerships and local content acquisitions for Disney+.

In addition to its DTC responsibilities, this team also leads cross-business projects within the Disney’s Entertainment and ESPN segments, optimizing overall performance in the region.

Working closely with both EMEA business leads, local executive teams and global US based teams, the CS&BD team provides invaluable support and direction in driving long term growth and delivering global strategic goals. The team’s activities and accomplishments contribute to the growth and success of TWDC in EMEA.

We’re looking for a highly capable Manager of Consumer Strategy & Business Development to help shape the next phase of growth for our DTC business in EMEA. This role calls for someone with a sharp strategic mindset and strong analytical capabilities, who is also able to interface effectively with multiple levels of management, ranging from senior corporate executives to local managers in the field.

This is a rare opportunity to participate in the decisions that will define our future, influencing the trajectory of our DTC business in EMEA at a pivotal moment in its evolution.

You’ll join a team grounded in our Disney values — acting with Integrity, welcoming everyone through Inclusion, embracing boundless Creativity, working together through Collaboration and caring deeply for our Community. These values shape how we work and how we support one another every day.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
