Manager, Corporate Tax Strategy
We are looking for a Manager, Corporate Tax Strategy to join us in London, UK
About The Role
Join Liberty Global’s Corporate Tax Strategy & Planning team and play a key role in shaping tax outcomes across a complex international business. This is an exciting opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys working on high-profile projects, influencing strategic decisions, and partnering with stakeholders across multiple functions. You will gain exposure to UK and international tax matters while contributing to major transactions, business developments, and financing initiatives.
Working across a broad range of tax workstreams, you’ll provide expert guidance on corporate tax matters, help manage tax risk, and support business objectives through practical, commercially focused advice. You'll collaborate closely with teams including Finance, Treasury, Legal, M&A and senior tax leadership, helping to deliver innovative solutions in a fast-moving and evolving tax landscape.
What will you be doing?
- Provide corporate tax advisory support across Liberty Global’s international business and strategic initiatives.
- Research complex tax issues and deliver practical guidance to stakeholders on a range of business projects.
- Support the development of business models by ensuring tax considerations are accurately assessed and reflected.
- Partner with Finance, Treasury, Legal, M&A and other teams on business-critical projects and transactions.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise on potential impacts, risks and opportunities.
- Lead and support aspects of tax compliance, reporting and forecasting activities while managing relationships with key stakeholders and external advisers.

We Tend To Look For People With
Essential skills and abilities:
- Experience in Corporate Tax, with a strong understanding of UK and/or international tax principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex technical issues and provide practical, commercially focused recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Ability to take ownership of projects, prioritise effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills And Abilities
- Professional tax qualification such as CTA or equivalent.
- Experience working across multiple tax workstreams in an international environment.
- Experience supporting complex corporate transactions or business transformation projects.
- Interest in developing broader expertise across corporate tax strategy and planning.
- Experience building effective relationships with external advisers and cross-functional teams.
