Your role
The Manager Data Centre is responsible for leading a team and managing a group of sites to ensure safe, reliable and efficient data centre operations.
You will oversee site performance across service delivery, infrastructure reliability, sustainability, compliance and customer experience. As the operational leader for your sites, you will be accountable for maintenance activities, asset management, capacity planning, incident management, budget performance and team development, ensuring all services are delivered in line with agreed standards, SLAs and KPIs.
What you'll do
- Lead the day-to-day operation of multiple data centre sites, ensuring infrastructure reliability, operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Drive compliance with Digital Realty's Health & Safety policies, governance requirements and operational procedures.
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, upgrades, capacity management and customer service activities, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Manage site performance against operational KPIs, customer SLAs and budget objectives.
- Lead incident, event and problem management activities to minimise service disruption and improve operational resilience.
- Ensure site documentation, risk registers and asset records are maintained and compliant with company standards.
- Support capacity planning, infrastructure projects and operational improvements across the sites.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of managers, engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Participate in customer audits, site visits and the operational on-call escalation process.

What you'll need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline.

Strong experience leading teams within a mission-critical environment such as data centres, telecommunications, critical infrastructure or industrial power.

Experience with maintenance management systems, operational governance and project planning.

Strong understanding of critical infrastructure operations and asset management.

Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent problem-solving, prioritisation and decision-making abilities.

Customer-focused, proactive and results-driven mindset.
-
ITIL and/or ServiceNow experience is advantageous but not essential.
