This is where you come in.
We're looking for a Manager of Environmental Legislation & Certification to lead a talented team responsible for delivering global Powertrain Homologation across our vehicle programmes. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise, leadership and strategic thinking to help shape how Aston Martin vehicles reach markets around the world.
In this role, you'll become the driving force behind our environmental certification activities, ensuring compliance with global emissions, fuel economy, EV range, power and on-board diagnostics requirements. Working across engineering, programme teams, calibration, software, quality, manufacturing and external regulatory bodies, you'll bring people together around a common objective: delivering world-class vehicles that meet the demands of an ever-changing regulatory landscape.
You'll lead a team of engineers and technical specialist, creating an environment where people can thrive, develop and perform at their best. You'll provide clear direction, remove obstacles and support your team in delivering complex certification programmes to challenging timelines. Just as importantly, you'll play a key role in anticipating future legislative changes and helping shape the strategies that keep Aston Martin at the forefront of compliance and innovation.

Success in this position isn't simply about technical knowledge. It's about building trusted relationships, influencing stakeholders, making informed decisions and bringing clarity to complex challenges. You'll need to balance multiple priorities whilst maintaining a strong focus on quality, timing and commercial considerations.
We're interested in hearing from people with proven experience in powertrain certification, testing or related engineering disciplines, alongside experience leading technical teams and managing complex programmes. A strong understanding of global environmental legislation, emissions regulations and certification processes will help you succeed, but equally important is your ability to communicate effectively, collaborate across functions and inspire confidence in those around you.
In return, you'll join a highly visible function that plays a critical role in the future direction of Aston Martin. You'll work closely with senior leadership, influence key business decisions and gain exposure across the wider organisation. The role offers a blend of technical depth, strategic responsibility and leadership challenge, along with the flexibility of hybrid working between our Gaydon headquarters and home.
