HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?
Financial Management & Reporting
- Lead and manage the finance function for the Europe region, ensuring effective financial stewardship and compliance with HKTB policies and local statutory requirements.
- Prepare annual budgets, periodic forecasts and financial plans for the Europe offices.
- Monitor financial performance and provide timely management reports, analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Conduct financial analysis, variance reviews and business performance assessments.
- Oversee bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliation activities.
- Monitor cash flow requirements and maintain effective treasury and cash management controls.
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Statutory Compliance, Governance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements across the Europe region.
- Manage corporate tax, VAT and other regulatory filings with relevant authorities.
- Establish, maintain and monitor effective internal controls, financial procedures and governance practices.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings and recommendations.
- Support risk management initiatives and promote compliance with HKTB policies and procedures.

Business Partnering
- Act as the finance business partner to budget-holding departments across the Europe offices, providing financial advice, analysis and support.
- Partner with office heads on budgeting, resource planning, financial management and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Serve as a strategic business partner to the Director, Europe, providing insights and recommendations on financial and operational matters.
Administration, HR & Operational Support
- Oversee administration functions to ensure efficient office operations across the Europe region.
- Coordinate payroll administration and provide support on employment-related administrative matters in consultation with Head Office and external service providers.
- Support procurement, contract administration and vendor management activities in accordance with HKTB policies.
- Coordinate IT-related matters with internal and external service providers to support business operations.
Other Responsibilities
- Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, financial controls and service delivery.
- Support regional and corporate initiatives, projects and system enhancements as assigned.
- Undertake any other duties and special assignments as directed by the Director, Europe.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Qualified accountant with a recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS, CPA, CA or equivalent).
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in finance and administration, with managerial experience and regional responsibilities preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, accounting principles, internal controls, audit and tax compliance.
- Proven experience in financial business partnering and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; knowledge of other European languages would be an advantage.

- The position is an on-site role based in our London Office
- We do not offer moving allowances from other cities
