About the Role
We are hiring a Manager, Finance Operations - Contract-to-Cash to build and run Nscale’s operating layer for approved commercial commitments, converting signed deals into controlled billing readiness, revenue recognition inputs, cash visibility, and finance-owned execution reporting.
Sitting at the intersection of Commercial Finance, Accounting Operations—including Billing and Revenue Recognition—Treasury, Legal, Sales, Customer Success, AI Infra / DC, and Deployment, you will ensure commercial commitments become invoiceable milestones, revenue-recognisable outputs, and collectable cash. Working closely with Accounting Operations, you will orchestrate the cross-functional revenue execution process while Accounting Operations retains ownership of billing execution, technical revenue recognition, and accounting controls.
This is a business-critical, senior builder role with regular exposure to Finance and Operations leadership. You will establish the operating cadence that gives leaders clear visibility over billing readiness, liquidity-critical customer cash, delivery-linked blockers, SLA / performance credit exposure, and unresolved execution risks.
What you'll be doing
Commitment-to-Cash operating model
- Build and run Nscale’s Commitment-to-Cash operating model from approved commercial commitment through billing readiness, revenue recognition inputs, cash visibility, and execution reporting.
- Establish the contract-to-finance handoff process, including minimum data standards, source hierarchy, ownership, turnaround expectations, and escalation routes.
- Run the weekly Commitment-to-Cash cadence, ensuring blockers to billing, revenue recognition, cash collection, customer finance onboarding, and acceptance milestones are visible, owned, and escalated.
- Present regularly to senior Finance and Operations leadership on signed deal readiness, billing blockers, liquidity-critical cash timing, execution risks, and required escalations.
- Design pragmatic dashboards, trackers, and control routines that work immediately while building scalable operating discipline.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Contract handoff, finance readiness, and revenue execution
- Translate signed contracts, order forms, and amendments into finance-operable billing milestones, revenue recognition inputs, and cash timing assumptions.
- Identify and track billing triggers, acceptance dependencies, PO / portal requirements, payment terms, termination windows, service credits, delay penalties, and performance credits.
- Coordinate with Customer Success / Commercial Operations and other onboarding owners to complete customer finance onboarding dependencies on time.
- Partner with Accounting Operations on invoice issuance, technical revenue recognition assessments, and related controls; Treasury on cash timing; and Legal on contract terms affecting Finance execution.
- Maintain a complete, controlled, and auditable view of what has been committed, what can be billed, when revenue can be recognised, and when cash is expected.
Cash, liquidity, risk exposure, and executive reporting
- Own the Commitment-to-Cash / RBC dashboard, invoice milestone tracker, and open blocker log.
- Track advance / prepayment billing, recurring billing, cash due, overdue or disputed balances, and revenue or cash at risk.
- Drive execution visibility for material advance / prepayment invoices, tracking contract triggers, PO / portal readiness, invoice issuance, due dates, disputes, and collection risks.
- Provide Treasury, FP&A, and senior Finance leadership with reliable visibility over liquidity-critical customer cash timing.
- Quantify and escalate financial exposure from delay penalties, performance credits, service credits, acceptance slippage, and SLA obligations.
Controls and continuous improvement
- Deliver monthly executive reporting on signed deal readiness, billing blockers, cash exposure, SLA / service credit exposure, and unresolved execution risks.
- Maintain audit-ready evidence of handoffs, trigger evidence, approval status, blocker ownership, and unresolved issues.
- Feed execution learnings into Commercial Finance, FP&A, Accounting Operations, and governance to improve pricing, contract terms, approval gates, and operating controls.
Capacity monetisation
- Link contracted or allocated capacity to customer commitments, revenue phasing, billing readiness, and cash timing.
- Partner with Commercial Finance to ensure capacity monetisation execution reflects approved economics, customer commitments, and opportunity-cost decisions.
- Work with AI Infra / DC and Deployment to maintain visibility over committed capacity status, expected go-live timing, acceptance milestones, and billing readiness.
- Track capacity-to-revenue conversion, highlighting where allocated or contracted capacity is not yet billing, revenue-recognisable, or cash-generating.
- Escalate capacity monetisation blockers that delay revenue conversion, customer cash collection, or forecast delivery.
